Hubby Thinks I need Exercise ~ Therego my new toy!

I just had to share this with you! Last week hubby sold my beautiful non running Buick Park Avenue and upgraded me to a Nissan Pathfinder 4 wheel drive that does run. I went from total luxury to a 5 speed. Even though I miss my Buick, I have no problem with driving a stick. This is not the end of it though! As if that is not enough new exercise between clutching, shifting and almost no power compared to the Buick, he thought I needed more exercise! LOL! A few days later he came home with this......

I was absolutely thrilled! This is a 1962 Huffy Bicycle! One of the reasons I am so thrilled, is that I had one when I was about 9 years old. It was stolen from the side of our house and my mother swore she would never buy me another bike because I left it on the side of the house to be stolen. I felt horrible and my mother never bought me another bicycle! I loved that bike so much too! Hubby did not know this and the funny part is this bike looks exactly like the one that was stolen! How great, huh! Now I just have to get my 51 year old body out and get the nerve to ride it! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs Lori

Ah what a wonderful gift... have fun riding around on your new bike. Just think you might want to get a motorcycle later ;)

I love it! I had one just like it.It was my first bike too. Of course mine was a little older! LOL! I still miss thatold bike.

Congrats on the bike! Good luck staying in a vertical position! And no wheelies! LOL.

too funny Lori! Your hubby is a keeper! Love the bike, and if I can put my 45 year old body on one, then you should not have any problem getting yourself onto it!

Wow I'd love to have a bike like that one.

I think it great that you a new bike.

Be careful and have fun!

I know the thrill of owning a bicycle. I lived on a farm when I was young and there was no place to ride so was envious of friends who lived in town. Take care of yourself. I've left you an award on my blog which I am finally getting up and running. Martha Kay
